STANDARD Retail Barcode Numbers – The barcodes we supply are in EAN-13 format (or UPC-12 format if you prefer). These are standard retail barcodes that are suitable for any product.
WORLDWIDE – Our barcodes can be used worldwide! Because our barcodes are in EAN-13 format (European Standard) they are suitable for use not only in the UK but in every country in the world (note: wWe are also able to supply barcodes in UPC format if requested – UPC is the American Standard).
NO MEMBERSHIP FORMS – You won’t have to fill in any membership forms if you get your barcodes from our company! All you have to do is order your barcodes online, and wait to receive them by email.
NO JOINING FEE – We won’t charge you any joining fee.
NO ANNUAL FEES – All of our barcodes are available for one-off prices. We will never charge you annual fees (or any other future fees).
AFFORDABLE – Our barcodes are very reasonably priced for small businesses and individuals. We also offer discounts on larger orders.
LEGAL – The barcode numbers we sell are completely legal and valid for use (both in the UK and worldwide). Our company is a registered company (“Barcodes Limited”) with a physical office. THE UNITED KINGDOM – Our barcodes are suitable for use in the UK (and Europe), as well as worldwide. We have thousands of customers successfully using our barcode numbers in the UK. We understand the barcoding requirements and practices in the UK, and can therefore provide expert customer support.
VERIFICATION REPORTS – We are the only barcode reseller in the world that is able to offer independently accredited barcode verification reports. Some retailers require verification for all barcodes entering their stores. A verification report is a test-scan of a barcode on it’s final packaging or label using a highly sensitive machine called a “barcode verifier”. The barcode is given a grade that indicates how easily it can be decoded by scanning machines (a pass grade is A, B, C or D).
CHECKING OF BARCODE NUMBERS – There is some illegal use of barcode numbers on the internet (eg. on sites such as Amazon). Because of this, we check all of our barcode numbers on the internet before issuing them to our customers.
BARCODE IMAGES – Our company is able to supply high quality barcode images (600dpi) for your barcode numbers. We can supply the images in many different formats (jpeg, eps, pdf, tiff, bmp etc), and we can customize the images as required. For example: we can do higher resolution images if requested (up to 2540dpi); we can customize the barcode size to suit your packaging requirements; and we can add text above or below the barcode if requested (eg. the product or company name).
FAST SERVICE – We have a very fast turn around time. We process our standard barcode packages orders automatically, so you will receive these straight away. For other orders, you will usually receive these within hours of placing your order (or the following morning at the latest). On very rare occassions it can take us a little longer to complete an order. Contact us if you need your barcode urgently.
